Moremi/Khwai Mobile

from P5 000 per person (based on 4 persons)

Short on time? This is a perfect excursion into the Moremi or Khwai concession (depending on campsite availability at the time of booking). Khwai never fails to surpass expectation with its beautiful meandering river, that creates the northern border of the Moremi Game Reserve.

Moremi Game Reserve, lies on the eastern part of the Okavango Delta. It’s varied landscape creates perfect territory for all species of game.

Likely to see: elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, lions, leopard and wilddog

Moremi Day Tripping

For those REALLY short of time, this is a perfect trip to see the world renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Departing at 6am from Okavango River Lodge with a light breakfast served as you enter the park at South Gate. Game drive along the south western part of the reserve, visiting Xini Lagoon and the area of Bodamatu with a picnic lunch en route before meandering back home.

Optional add on: Return back to Maun by scenic flight from Xakanaka Airstrip.

Extended Moremi/Khwai Mobile

Three days, two nights mobile safari with extra time to find the elusive leopard or to find the wild dog’s or maybe a lion kill. The longer time spent in the bush the more you will see and experience. Study the stars and listen to more stories from your guide. The bush is soul soothing, and if you have the time this trip is the most favourable – no regrets!

Likely to see: elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, lion, leopard, wild dog, hyena, hippo, kudu, waterbuck, impala, warthog, lechwe.

Optional add on: Another night, why not? The bush is addictive!! We can create tailor made itineraries just for you!

Nxai Pan Sleepover

from P5 775 per person

Here you really can retrace the steps of your ancestors (still no pith helmet though!). Thomas Baines, an English artist and explorer, discovered ‘Baines Baobabs’ in 1862, which lie south of Nxai Pan National Park. This park is 140 km from Maun travelling on a tar road.

Nxai Pan, together with the Makgadikgadi Pan they boast the largest salt pans in the world. Offering a different landscape experience from the Delta. This area peaks in our green season, December – April, where wildlife is more abundant.

Likely to see: gemsbok, hartebeest, cheetah, lion, giraffe, zebra, jackal, springbok.

Optional add on: Why not combine this mobile safari with a mobile safari into Moremi/Khwai. Vastly different but complimentary at the same time this combined mobile safari highlights the best of what northern Botswana has to offer.
